Employee Engagement
Listen to your team and build a positive culture with surveys, pulse checks, recognition, and feedback.
Overview
The Engagement module helps you understand and improve how your people feel about work. It brings together:
Engagement Dashboard
Open Engagement in the sidebar to see an overview of activity - open surveys, recent pulse results, and recognition across your team.
Surveys
Creating a Survey
- Give it a title and add your questions
- Choose who it goes to and when it runs
- Launch the survey
Reviewing Results
Once responses come in, open the survey to see the results. Surveys can be anonymous to encourage candid feedback, helping you spot themes and act on them.
Pulse
Pulse surveys are short, regular check-ins - often a single question - that track how your team is feeling over time.
- Review the latest pulse results and trends
- Use the trend over time to catch changes in sentiment early
Because pulse checks are quick and frequent, they give you an ongoing read on morale rather than a once-a-year snapshot.
Recognition
Recognition lets people celebrate each other's good work.
- Recognise a colleague, noting what they did well
- Recognition is shared so the whole team can see and celebrate wins
Regular recognition reinforces the behaviours you want to see and helps people feel valued.
Feedback
The feedback area lets colleagues exchange constructive feedback outside of formal performance reviews. Use it for in-the-moment notes that help people grow. For structured review cycles, goals, and 360 feedback, see the Learning & Performance guide.
Tips
- Keep surveys focused - shorter surveys get higher response rates
- Use pulse checks for ongoing sentiment and longer surveys for deeper topics
- Make surveys anonymous when you want honest answers
- Act visibly on what you learn - people engage more when they see their input matters
- Encourage regular recognition; little and often beats once a year
